Citizen Scientist Camp

Rising 4th – 6th graders
9:00 AM – noon
Snacks provided

This is the same camp theme as the rising 1-3 graders, but activities and experiences are tailored to older students.  Spend three days working as a citizen scientist.  Citizen scientists are important because research scientists cannot be everyone at once.  They enlist people like you to find the samples or species, collect the data, and report it to them.  We will be parts of several ongoing field experiments as we learn how to collect data and report like scientists in the field.

What to Bring:  Water bottle, sun screen, bug spray, clothes for outside, watershoes
