Their way of life, their love of the water, their determination to survive, their culture, language and cuisine has fed the spirit and body of the state form one generation to the next. Now awash in globalized seafood, amidst shifting political and economic landscapes, fishermen with one foot in the past are charting a new course for their future. A future that is steeped in tradition while looking far ahead certain they will make it Big.
