Rising 4th, 5th and 6th graders.
This camp will immerse students in the history and heritage of the Core Sound and Down East communities. Participants will learn about the ways of life in our Down East communities in the early 20th century and how our relative isolation in those days, as well as geography, has contributed to who we are today. Activities will include learning about and using traditional fishing gear, making (and tasting!) traditional DownEast meals, learning how to read nautical charts, and much more!
